1.     Admission conditions:

 

A - Those who are admitted are subject to the regulations and rules of the program during their studies. After graduation, they are not allowed to engage in all medical and paramedical professions in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

 B - If the admitted students change their nationality, they will be subject to all the regulations for the Iranian students and the relevant commitments.

 

C - The students shall comply with all the education and disciplinary regulations and instructions of the university.

 

D - The admitted students are required to comply with the rules of the Islamic Republic of Iran and respect Islamic values. In case of committing a violation, they will be subject to law.

 

E - If the students’ resident license and/or student visa is nullified at the competent authorities’ discretion, they will not have any right to make objection in this regard.

 

F - The university admission is valid for the year the student is admitted. If the candidate does not start his/her studies on the prescribed date, it will be considered as withdrawal, and they will not have any right to make objection in this regard.

 

2.  University tuition:

 

A. The tuition for non-Iranian students is determined each year by the board of trustees of the university.

 

 

B. The admitted students are required to pay tuition at the beginning of semester according to the agreement made by the university. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to continue their studies.

 

3.  Admission requirements:

 

1)      Not having legal encumbrance for education according to education rules

 

2)      Holding General Competency Certificate issued by the IRI Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign       Affairs

 

3)      Holding a valid physical and mental health certificate issued by the panel physician of the IRI Embassy and the university

 

4)      Having a good command of Persian :

4.1. If the student completed his/her previous academic program in Iran, his/her mastery of Persian language is approved.

 

4.2. If the student did not complete his/her previous academic program in Iran, his/her knowledge about Persian language is assessed by one of the Persian language institutes, and a decision is made.

5)    Holding a valid passport

 

6)    Holding a valid academic degree approved by competent authorities

 

6.1  .Associate program and Bachelor’s program: High School Diploma and Pre-University Program Certificate approved and assessed with the minimum Cum. GPA of 12.50 (out of 20.00);

6.2. General Medicine Program (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy): High School Diploma and Pre-University Program Certificate approved and assessed with the minimum Cum. GPA of 14.00 (out of 20.00);

 

6.3. Master’s Program: Bachelor’s degree obtained from one of the universities in Iran, or assessed by the competent authorities in Iran, with the minimum GPA of 14.00 (out of 20.00);

 and approved by the relevant Department regarding the student’s scientific eligibility through reviewing his/her academic records

 

6.4. PhD Program: Master’s degree obtained from one of the universities in Iran, or assessed by the competent authorities in Iran, with the minimum GPA of 16.00 (out of 20.00), and approved by the relevant Department regarding the student’s scientific eligibility according to the standards

 

7)    Financial ability for payment of university tuition and the relevant costs of study

 

     4. Admission documents:

 

A) Application form

B) The original copy of academic documents, and the translated copy of them

C) Identity documents including passport, resident card, Id. Card, refugee booklet, valid student visa

D) A valid certificate of Persian language proficiency

E) Physical and mental health certificate approved by the IRI Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
